Adam's Christmas Program

Tonight we got to attend Adam's very first Christmas Program for school. His preschool, Lori's Little Learners, had their own little concert with a few Christmas songs and cookies. It was super cute and they actually sang some religious songs and Happy Birthday to Baby Jesus. I'm glad we found such a great place for him to attend school.

This video is pretty dark, but Adam is at the far end.

Adam loved showing off his artwork.

This is Adam with his best buddy Cohen. They use to call each other "fighting friends", but now they get along great.
Adam and Cohen with their teacher Mrs. Scott. Adam loves her!

Tyler likes going to Adam's preschool because he always finds great toys.

Baby Aguirre's First Pictures!

Today I had my 12 week ultrasound! Mario was able to come with me and we had a wonderful time. They said everything looks great and that the due date is still June 18th. Adam and Tyler were so excited to see the pictures. Tonight in Adam's prayer he asked that the baby could be a boy or girl. It was pretty funny. At least he's not picky! On February 1st we find out the sex of the baby. I can't wait! We feel so blessed.

Can I get an Amen?

Tyler is 16 months old now and just about the cutest thing in the world. He is starting to really be a toddler instead of a baby. Just today we were saying prayer before dinner and Tyler said "Amen" at the end. Then when we knelt for prayer before bed I was saying it line by line so Adam could repeat after me, but instead Tyler babbled and tried to copy me. So cute! Then I layed him in bed and he said "Night Night". What a fun age!
(This picture is a couple months old, but it's cute and my camera is broken.)

Happy Birthday Mom!

Today is my Mom's birthday! She is an amazing mother and friend. She really is the best mom in the world so don't even try to argue! Here's some things that make her, her!

My mom loves to do crazy things and laugh. She's always having fun with her family and friends. This is her and my sister having a competition to see who could keep their feet in ice water for the longest.

She loves to go on vacation, especially if it's with family! She's really excited to go to Holland in the spring with her sibblings and Dad.

My mom is the best Nana! Adam and Tyler adore her and the feeling is mutual. My mom is such a great mother, so it's nice to be able to ask her advice when raising my boys. She also loves my dad, her eternal sweetheart! They have a great marriage and are an example to Mario and I.

My mom loves anything to do with the water. Her favorite place on earth is being out on a boat in Lake Tapps. This is the Jet Boat ride along the Rogue River.

These are a few of my mom's favorite things....but she is one of MY favorite things! I don't know what I'd do without her! I love you so much mom....have a very Happy Birthday!!!!

The Trip Goes South...

After the wedding we headed down to Salt Lake to visit Mario's family there and bring my sister Laura to BYU Dance Camp. It was a great trip! I love Mario's family and it was fun to meet all the new babies and spouses. The main big reason for going was that it was Mario's cousin Allen's last weekend at home before leaving on his mission to Guatemala.

Mario and Allen (aka Elder Briones)

Mario's Tia Consuelo and Tio Alfredo have a trampoline in their yard, which Adam and Tyler were all over!

I got to meet Mario's cousin Adrianna, who is so nice, and her adorable baby Isabella.

It was fun spending the weekend with Laura...I love my littlest sis!

There was so much family visiting to see Allen off...it was awesome!

Adrian and Laura!

July 31st I gained a brand new sister-in-law! Her name is Laura (not to be confused with my sister Laura) and her and Adrian are perfect for each other. They were married in the Twin Falls Temple and we were able to attend. It was beautiful and there sealer was Stephenie Meyers Grandpa, so that was neat.

Here's some pics!

My sister Jennie and I..

Mario's cousin Javier lives in Twin Falls, so we were able to visit him as well.

Tyler loves Uncle Adrian and Aunt Laura!

My mom looked so pretty....until my cousin Joshua pushed her into the pool at the hotel...IN HER DRESS! It was hilarious!

My boys!

Welcome to the family Laura!!!! Congrats you guys!

Get Ready for Picture Overload!

We have been so busy lately that I have severely neglected our Blog. And all the things we've been busy with deserve a post. I like to put up lots of pictures and just some writing so sorry!

Machu Pichu Problems

For seven long days Gina and I worked on a 1,000 piece puzzle of Machu Pichu. We stayed up late every night and worked on it while we ate. In short...we wasted a lot of time and lost sleep. Mario threatened to throw it away multiple times. But we had a blast and finally......WE CONQUERED!

To occupy the boys while we were finishing the last little bit I let them it a Lemonade IceCream Pie out of the tin. Judge me....

Water Works Park

A few weeks ago Mario had a Monday off of work. He surprised us with a trip to Water Works Park. It's a waterslide park in Redding, CA, a few hours away. We had a blast! It was about 100 degrees outside and sunny. The water was a great relief from the heat we've been having. I have lots of pictures but there isn't too much more to say other than that we had a great time and came home sunburnt with smiles on our faces!

Gina on the Avalanche ride....scariest slide ever! I almost did the walk of shame and chickened out. I wish I would have.

Adam is a total water baby. They have lots of kids slides and he didn't stop all day.

Gina coming out of a toilet bowl slide.

Tyler was so good all day. He loved splashing in the shallow kids pool.

Adam thought it was so cool they had little kid loungers.

And on the ride home....ICE CREAM!

100% fantastic day!

and we have.....TOMATOES

Our garden is actually working!!!! I know....surprise surprise! So far we have harvested tomatoes, cucumbers (Mario wanted to plant those for Laura Michelle), sugar snap peas, green beans, lettuce (it was nasty), radishes, corn (so good), watermelon, bell peppers, jalapeno (just one), spinach, zucchini, and potatoes. This has been such a neat experience and I'm sure to do it next year as well. And I have to say thanks to my friends Tamara who is doing the garden with me. If it weren't for her I would have nothing but weeds, dead plants, and bugs. Thanks Tamara!

4th of July Fun!

We had such a fun 4th this year! In the morning Gina, the kids and I went to the Central Point Parade while Mario went to work. It is a small parade but very fun and community oriented. It was hot as snot outside but we got the only strip of shade on the whole street. I figure I deserved it after sitting through the parade 9 months pregnant last year. ;)

In the evening we went to our friends, Jason and Joy's, house for a BBQ.

Jasper came with us because we were worried about him being home alone with all the fireworks going off. Turns out that kids LOVE him. Poor dog was tortured by well meaning children all night. I think he liked it.

This picture is blurry....sorry!

Tyler was given his very first cupcake. He couldn't figure out what he was supposed to do with it at first but then he scarfed it down. It was pretty darn cute!

When the sun went down the fireworks came out. There were sparklers for the kids to hold along with all sorts of others.

Adam loved it!

We had a really wonderful 4th of July and feel so blessed to live in this wonderful nation!

Adam's First Day of Preschool

I have been horrible about blogging lately so I am now playing catch up. OOPS! (that was my disclaimer for really old pictures...)

In July Adam was able to start a special summer program at Lori's Little Learners. He will be attending preschool there in the fall. The summer program is more outdoor playing and crafts than school, but Adam loves it. He was so excited for his first day that he actually kept telling me that we need to take pictures. I think I'm rubbing off on him!

The classic first-day-of-school-in-front-of-the-door picture.

Adam was suprised when I told him to get in the car. He honestly thought a school bus was going to take him. Kid watches too much tv.

This is the front door to his preschool. He calls it Farm School and thinks he is learning how to be a farmer. It is just a couple miles from my house but out in the country. She has a large property and built a school on it. They have their own little fenced off play area but cows wander around outside it. She also has a greenhouse and teaches the kids how to grow things. It's really a fun place.
I thought Adam would be sad for me to leave....nope. He ran for the airplane swing without so much as a bye Mom. He loved his first day!
