Kid Time!

1 tired mom + 1 high-energy tot = KID TIME!

We have found an awesome place called Kid Time close to our house. It has everything from a pretend doctors office to a climbing wall and everything else a kid could dream of. Perk for Me: An air conditioned place that gets Adams energy out while keeping my house clean, it's even better when I get to visit with my friends. Perk for Adam: Endless possibilities for play and other kids along with a sane happy mom. What a deal! So we got a three month membership, along with a few friends, and so far it seems well worth it.

Brotherly Love

Girls Night In!

I have been so blessed with wonderful friends. They wanted to have a baby shower for me, but I really didn't need that much stuff since Tyler is my second boy. But any excuse to have a party with no kids or husbands should be taken advantage of! So we had a little "Girls Night In". We had cake, appetizers, and some much needed girl talk! It was great and reminded me of how much I love my friends.

Portland

I hate being home by myself over night...so we went with Mario on his business trip to Portland. We were only there a couple days but it was pretty fun and it was so wonderful to spend some time as a family even if it was in the car.

Our hotel looked over the river into Washington....I was so close to family but not close enough!

We ate way to much!

All day when Mario was in class I did what I do best....SHOP! Portland has great shopping....Ikea,Nordstrom, DSW, etc.!

Tyler's Blessing Day

This past Sunday was such a special one for our family. Tyler recieved his baby blessing from Mario with both my Dad and my brother Adrian standing in the circle. Usually baby blessings are on the first Sunday of the month, so we weren't even sure that he would be born in time to do it this month. Luckily he was born a little early and we were able to do it while my parents and sibblings were visiting. I am so grateful that Mario was able to bless Tyler. He did a wonderful job and you could really feel the spirit and the peace that a new baby brings. One special note is that the blanket Tyler was wrapped in was also used when Adam was blessed. It was given to us by a sister in my parent's ward (my old ward). While her son was in the hospital getting a heart transplant he she made it for us. It is an absolutely beautiful blanket! We feel so blessed by the new addition to our family and am so glad that he was blessed!

Breaking Dawn!

After long months of waiting "Breaking Dawn" the final installment of the Twilight series is finally out! I still can't figure out why the Twilight series is so addictive. I just love them! And obviously other people do, too! Last friday night my mom, dad, and I went to a Breaking Dawn release party at my friend Michelle's house. She had it decorated beautifully! I was so impressed with the work that she put in. There was a fountain of punch meant to look like blood. Lots of red apples, strawberries, and cherries along with a chocolate fountain. We played a trivia game and had a great time. I even won a shirt that said "Bite me" with an apple! It was so fun to be with all my other friends who love the imaginitive world where a human and a vampire can be in love. My dad was the only guy there (other than Tyler of course!), which was pretty fun! He said he felt awkward but everyone thought it was so cool that he had read them. Another perk of the party was getting to show off my brand new baby, which is always fun! We didn't make it to the midnight release, although I was up with Tyler at that time.... But in the morning my mom and I headed out to Costco and bought the books. It only took me a few days to read it, which is saying something because it is a long book...I just couldn't put it down. The sad part is that now the story is over!
