Baby Update- 36 weeks!

I really hate pictures of me pregnant...but I was looking at ones of my mom preggo with me and thought it was pretty cool. So this is for you little one!

This is me at 36 weeks. I am so tired of being pregnant and have all the normal aches and pains (not to mention the ongoing Nausea) but am healthy and so is the baby. Dr. Binette says I am measuring small but he didn't seem too concerned. We are hoping for a healthy baby boy in the next few weeks!

Adam's Preschool Pics!

This year Adam has been attending "Lori's Little Learners". He has such a great time and has learned so much. He can now write his name and the letters. He is very good at counting and really just has a love of learning.

A couple weeks ago they had a mom who is a photographer come in and take pictures. Here are a few!

Tyler's 18mo check-up

(at 21 months....woops!)

Last month Tyler had his check-up at Dr. Mills. He was super healthy as he has always been. Dr. Mills actually told me he wished he could clone my kids for all his patients. He loves that they are healthy and well behaved. That made me feel good because I know he sees tons of kids. A lot of people complain that there are no good doctors out there. It makes me feel blessed that we found a Dr. who is so knowledgable and really loves our kids. I can tell he cares about them and really wants them to be healthy.

Tyler had to get a few immunizations, which he took like a trooper. He is still on the small side but that is normal for my kids. Here are his stats:

Weight: 21 lbs. 6 oz. (-5th percentile)

Height: 31 3/4 in. (10th percentile)

Head: 18.3 in. (15th percentile)

A few days after his appointment we had a bit of a scare. Tyler woke up in the middle of the night with a temp of 105.6! The high temp lasted for a day with no other symptoms and then went away. Thankfully he is fine now.

Tyler is getting to have quite the personality. I can feel the terrible two's starting already! He is so stubborn but it is hard to get mad at him with his cute little smile and head full of curly hair. He refuses to drink out of a sippy cup or sit in his high chair. He thinks he is way too big for that baby stuff. He likes to tell Adam to "Share!" and follows Adam around all day. He is using more words everyday and has quite the vocabulary. His favorite topic of conversation is "dog dogs". From clothes, books, toys, and tv all he wants are things about dogs. Jasper is his best buddy! When we go to the park he stalks the dogs and is not afraid of them at all (which scares me!). We get stopped everywhere we go because people just love his curly locks.

He is a handful at times but we wouldn't take him any other way!

Tyler loves dogs! Vito is our friends dog that Tyler just adores.

My Momma!

I have hands down the #1 best mom in the whole universe. Don't even try to pretend she isn't... She is amazing in every way and my best friend. Here are a few reason's I love her so much:

#1 She is a great example to me of the type of woman I should become


#2 She has raised me in the gospel and taught me to love the Savior



#3 She is the most fun person to shop with and loves to spoil my boys like crazy


#4 She is proud of our Dutch heritage and teaches us about where we came from

#5 She LOVES her grandsons! (and they LOVE her!)

#6 Hanging out with Her and my sisters is just about the most fun thing in the world. We all share the same mind and heart it seems.

#7 She is a very hard worker and a great entrepeneur (plus she makes me all sorts of great vinyl!)

#8 My mom and dad have a great relationship and are an example to Mario and I

#9 SHE IS CRAZY!!!!! and I love it :)

So Mom, this Mother's Day I just want to let you know how much I love you. I think about you all the time and am eternally grateful for the wonderful woman that you are.

I am so blessed to have a fantastic youngest little sister. Today is Laura's 15th Birthday! She is an amazing person and so fun to be around. Laura is a very talented dancer and a great Aunt to my boys. They just adore her! Have a great Birthday Laura, we love you!!!!
